for that --i use an m90 , s90 , aiwa 950 & aiwa 980

but imho --NO box puts out the details of all the instruments
like a decent set of headphones

I don't got any of those boxes but when I do listen to classical music I use my m70 Beethoven sounds good coming out of those speakers

agree on the headset vs bbox speakers. 1000000%.

My Teufel tower speakers are better too
Buuut - those Nationals were just built for music with detail. Jazz also sounds amazing on them while stuff with kickbass just makes these awesome units sound weak

It's an acquired taste, for sure, but once you acquire it, you only want the best. Like beer. Or aerosol cheese.
