I like Chrysler a lot. Here's my 1979 Chrysler GE Sigma Special Edition. This meant extra brightwork, bumper strips, colour coded wheel covers, a hood ornament and a horizontal metal grille rather than a plastic 'honeycomb' one, and a cloth interior rather than leather
"Australia's most powerful four". At the time, people. Definitely not now
Cue Aussie members to either "aaawww" or "bluuuurgh" about now. Most of AU hate Sigmas and most can remember one in the family.
Chrysler sold the design to Mitsubishi in 1980 who then proceeded to further uglify it.
US chrysler designs are very nice. Sleek, powerful, feminine. I'm thinking of makes like the Imperial or even the Gas Turbine car. Beautiful.
Our Aussie Chryslers are a little blunt but some are quite nice. Our early Galant, our Charger, our version of the Dodge Dart, (Valiant Pacer) all good-looking and to me better than the US counterpart.
