That was awesome.
I've played the piano since I was 7 years old. In my junior year in high school I was running low on music electives, so I decided to join the marching band (yes, I was a band geek, too). I was assigned to "chromatic percussion" (think "glockenspiel") because of it's physical similarity to the keyboard. Man-O-Man, did I suck at marching.
I gained a new appreciation for the piano - I get to sit down while I play.
I think the only reason I received a credit that semester was because I was assisting in instructing the Instrumental Keyboard classes.
There's a lot of talent on that field. Some people have trouble just walking around, let alone doing it while playing an instrument.

Great half-time show! I was a "band geek" also, but where else can you get a ratio of 10 girls to 1 boy? Made for some great bus rides to and from games and competitions! :w00t: Our music director was involved with the Drums Corps International back then, so we got to see and interact with some of the best marching bands in the world at the time. Santa Clara Vanguard. Phantom Regiment, Blue Devils, 27th Lancers etc. Things were so much simpler back then, no cell phones, no internet, 3 TV channels on a clear day. It takes a lot of work, and sweat, to bring a show like that OSU did together. Thanks for posting it.

Amazing multi-tasking skills there. I watched not having the faintest idea what to expect but woah, how clever was that! 1080p version now downloaded so I can watch again. And again.....

Wow, that was very impressive. I still can't figure out how they do that stuff.
Lots of plotting on graph paper. Lots of practice learning where your spot is at every moment in the song. Quite amazing to see it happen in the end.
