AN ODE TO UNCLE ED

There is a man named Uncle Ed,
without a boombox, he'd prefer to be dead.

He likes the tapes and ray-dee-oh,
for him and Betty to Do-see-doh

He posts quirky classic pictures of some really strange ****,
more often than not, they are quite a hit.

Sometimes those obscure pics are even in black and white,
It really makes me wonder what he does all night???

He has proven to be a real class act,
smart, witty and matter of fact.

His generosity and knowledge is second to none,
it's obvious that to him, boomboxes are more than just fun.

He travels up and down Florida's west coast,
to spread the word that boomboxes are the most...

As you can tell, it's a real effort for me to take the time,
to put together a such a cheezy little rhyme...

But Eddy-boy and his good vibe
make it impossible for me to see this thread and look aside.

Boomboxery has great members like Fatdog, Ira and oldskool, just to name just a few...
But without Ed around, this forum would be doo-doo.

Thanks for proving my point about the quirky pics, Ed!!! I don't know which one is stranger? The mini-cuke shoved into the shot measurer that looks like a parakeet profile, or the one that looks like plate of yak balls in a savory sauce and served over a bed of lettuce...

Makes me wonder if you have an archive of these pictures that you keep around, waiting for the perfect time to drop one on us????? If so, how do you keep track of them & how are they sorted??? Categorically or via levels of strangeness?
