So while listening to some electro on my VZ2000, I recently noticed a small wobbling in sound as if the belt was coming loose

But well, it could not have been the belt...I replaced it less than a year ago

Well, the solution was so easy - I cleaned the rubber pad that holds the record in place and voila - wobbling sound gone. It seems the record slipped off there .
So go ahead and clean that little area on your VZ too because it really improves the sound on electro records
