Nice little red one for £7.50

Got this one on a stupidly cheap eBay BIN for £14.99 shipped. Was sold as fully working but didn't work when it got here so the seller gave me half my money back. So it was £7.50

Didn't work on mains but did with a 9v power supply so checked out the transformer and sure enough there was a hairline crack on the board. A bit of soldering and it all works perfectly. Gave it some contact cleaner, a wash and a polish. Pretty nice little mini for £7.50

I like small, colourful boxes.

I shall try my utmost to compose myself, strengthen my upper lip and use all my inner resolve to bring about the cessation of my quivering chin following the devastating auction results. The effects upon my person when this news was broken to me, in a manner with such an abruptness (and without remotest consideration to my well being, I might add), brought on an alteration of my mind like no other may have had cause to experience.

One may hope, given suffient time along with the support & comfort of those close to me, I may survive the traumas of this event unscathed - although I am of the firm belief that this, the most unlikely of outcomes, will ever come to fruition.

I need to rest once more...................................................
