I posted that earlier this year!
Only reason I remember, is because I was erasing a bunch of old pics I posted on here last night, to free up more space for new pics..:cool:

With the metric system its easy to know the mass of a body of water if you know the volume. Just looking at that aquarium I said that figure (6000 lbs) looks about right.

Lol. The metric system. A gallon of water weighs 8lbs. That things probably a... 500-600 gallon tank. If 500, then ~4000lbs if it was only filled with water.

It's definitely more simple (simpler?) To use. But when you grow up on the "odd" stuff, (inches, pounds, gallons, etc.)

You get used to: mile=5,280 feet, gallon of water=8pounds, 6inches is really only 3, that sort of stuff......
