You nailed it as usual Si. I'd never seen one before but I recognized B&O's signature design

it is hard to expect good sound for such a thickness of the apparatus. but it is surprising and for example much deeper than that of a thin sharp gf 8

as far as i know it was their only boombox sample from bang & o

and for some reason it is made in Japan

Really nice and diverse collection! I like your taste—the Grundig 1140, the Crown 350, of course the Aiwa and Big Ben...quality!! I also have the Beo 10–mine came with a special screw in the wall bracket for the handle!
