Yay! I was browsing Gumtree the other day and noted a couple of wanted ads concerning boomboxes. I hope they work for the advert placers!
Amongst them something stood out to me; a little thumbnail of a rectangular thing whose text read "radio cassette boombox" or something. I opened the link and lo!, it is a Pioneer SK-550, something I'd never seen before in real life. I wrote to the seller and he hadn't sold it yet... so I turned out to be the lucky buyer!
$60 later I received it at my PO box and it's pretty cool. Nice and heavy and similar in styling to other pioneer boxes I'd seen. It's a bit dirty and needs a spruce pretty bad, as well as 3 EQ sliders. But I'm happy!
It's basically a wild find for me. And it's been way too long.

I will do it!! I'm in the middle of moving house!! Jeez sorry guys! Haven't any of you heard of a novel or are you all into picture books?!
