Okay guys, have a situation.

I bought 2 tec 9 mags during august, paid with paypal. $30 each. one came in damaged and wasnt the one pictured-also didn't fit. I talked to the seller-he said ship it back and I did, then he says "send me $5 for shipping to ship a new one out" Well he charged $11 for shipping the first time and it only cost $5.90 for both in a small flat rate box. I then decided I didn't feel like sending money over and over just to get a mag that wouldnt be what I saw in the pic. He said that was nnot his problem.

Well, I ask for a partial refund- Just $30- he said ''no. you sent me the mag but no $5, send me the $5 and I;ll ship you a new one" I then opened a case,as he doesn't want to. and now before I can get my refund, paypal said I need trakcking info to prove I sent it. Well in the emails I have saved-He clearly maks reference several times that he has the one I sent back. I lost the shipping reciept as it has been since august- What can I do? I have until the 13th to get my refund :-/

You should've opened an eBay case, not paypal. eBay representatives can view your emails exchange. Other members have also filed claims and the emails exchanged has been reviewed and considered by representives in the case settlement. I would contact representatives directly to explain the situation. Both eBay and Paypal now have phone support available.

I agree. Now that it's clear you messed up by not mailing with tracking, then the best you can do is pay the extra $5, then leave negative FB via gunbroker. Either that or call your credit card company and circumvent all those basterds. Don't know if the emails were off site too but if they were, then there will be no way for paypal to verify what he said, she said, via your offsite emails.
