First of all this is my first ghetto blaster and my first time on this site. I'm totally new at this and little overwhelmed and I was wondering if anyone had any good tips on how to connect my phone up to it to play music? I have been looking at some things like using line in or maybe a bluetooth receiver? I would just really love to make this a rocking portable speaker system, and I cant wait to get my hands dirty!

Welcome to the forum! :-)

There are several ways to connect your mp3 player or phone to boombox:
- With cables to LINE IN;
- With FM Transmitter;
- With Bluetooth;
- With Car Cassette Adаptor;

Each of these has its advantages and disadvantages...
Good luck! :-)

Just get a minijack to RCA cable and connect the phone's headphone out to the line-in.

This way will give you the best sound, but you'll have a cable running from the phone to the Panasonic, not sure if this bothers you...

Yea I was thinking about the RCA cable but I would really like to walk around without cables. I think I may be leaning towards a bluetooth receiver hooked up to the RCA inputs but then of course charging becomes a problem. Thanks for all the help!
