I'm not sure but I think these have a TV tuner where you can listen to the TV but not watch it.

Analogue TV broadcast, upgrades your TV with Stereo sound now obsolete I couldn't find any signals in OZ.

I vaugely remember an uncle of mine had an old mono radio cassette that could pick up TV sound ..I think the frequency band was called UHF (Ultra High Frequency ) here in the U.K.

It's below and above Normal FM Radio Broadcasts a TV has a radio tuner as well. It's VHF.

Many better radios had shortwave then too as there were many more stations still using it

Ah right makes sence. I guess that is a frequency no longer uses with digital TV stuff.
