National-Panasonic Rx-5350 Cassette Tray & Door

As the title says, I need a cassette tray and door for a 5350 I just bought.

There is an cassette assembly on ebay, but it looks like its missing the door/cover. If anyone has anything or any leads, please let me know. If you just have the door, I can buy the unit on ebay.

Yeah thanks!!! It just showed up and looks about as good as it does in the pics!!! Just finding that cassette door is probably gonna be a pain.

Another question would be if anyone has one as a donor for 3D printing?!?

Congrats trippy.
If that was on ebay, I was watching that one too.
I ended up with the other one that was for sale at the same time.
I received mine last week and the cassette door was loose and sliding around on top of the face.
The way they slide and lock in doesn't seem to be a very robust design which is probably why so many 5350s seem to be missing them.
The one I bought is pretty complete but definitely has it's problems both mechanically and electrically.
It's going to be my cold weather project with a complete recapping.

If you haven't already, you should contact the guy selling the cassette player and ask if he has the door.
Even if it's cracked/broken, you might be able to have that 3D printed.
I've bought several boxes off him and he's pretty cool to deal with.

Not sure I saw the listing you might have bought. Only other one I saw is the one in Egypt. Overseas shipping scared me so I went with the Canadian. Lol

Yours, mine and the Egyptian one were on there together.
Notice the Egyptian one is missing the door too.

If you buy that spare deck you don't need to 3D print anything. It has the door plus the cover that snaps on.
All that's missing from it are the metal trims and glass.
That 5350 still for sale has the main door, but it's missing the cover.

Yeah, I misspoke, it's not the door but the cassette door cover.
I don't see the cover but maybe I'm wrong.

I looked at the manual, the door is two pieces - the 5350 still for sale has one part and the deck for sale has both.
But yeah the cover is gone, that's some custom shaped piece of clear plastic with trims glued to it.
Both the door and cover are composed of multiple parts

Whoa that picture helps clear it up a lot. I wonder if the front cover glues or clips on? I can make a plexiglass piece pretty easy, the trins though... I'll just have to keep my eyes open.

Ok trip, I took mine out of the box to take some pics.
It seems to be the front cover, a shiny bronze colored piece that's either glued or snapped onto the door and then the gray door.
The outer cover slips over then slides down on the door to lock it on.
You can see it has two tabs on top then one locking tab on the bottom.
