Hi folks! This is my small -startup- collection. Have found fun in restoring them ;)

Firstly a restored Hitachi TRK7720E. It belongs to my father. It acidently fell from the speaker, when I was testing my first homemade tube amp.. It broke in two, both tuner and tapedeck went bad. I recently got a prety well mainaned donor with a few missing parts, so i could reuse its parts. Actualy, there were only a few parts usable from my fathers radio, in the end the original became a donor. so her are the pics:
before restoration (bottom one is recent purchase, top one is the original)
after restoration, 2 pics

These to are restored-to-be Fisher PH-W803L and Sanyo C10. Fisher is prety big, with missing volume sliders, Sanyo is kinda medium, complete but with issues with tuner. Both have also troubles in tapedecks.

Here is another Hitachi, TRK7250E. Has been cleaned and checked. How do you folks deal with scratched/faded chrome? Do you do hot silver stamping job or Alclad or someting else?

Welcome to the mad world of boomboxes.

Title of your post is not so correct. The collection is not so "small"!

That ITT is in my hit list. Totally different design. Very elegant to my eyes.
The Sanyo has biggest speakers in a classic boombox I think!
