Hi I've been working on my Sharp GF-8787H I got from ThatFuzz about
a year ago.
Well I finally went through the deck and cleaned it throughly so it FF great
plays great and is very nice now.
Rewind spring tension as usual is not tight enough(this is an inherit bad design
flaw on these particular decks) -will fix this but is something i have to really take time and document procedure, spring is a bitch to get at.-but everythings else is great.Belts are
ok but new ones are getting ordered next week.
The big thing about this is that it's the H model that draws 25 watts instead of
15 like the normally aspirated US version! :w00t: This darn thing has
GF-9595 woofers In it!!!!  I can't believe the bass,
It's very, very good! Plus the tuner,as you Sharp buffs know the H tuners
are striong!!! Even at .75 yes .75 it's starting to get loud!
I looked at that transformer and it's huge!! :-O Much bigger than the 15 watt
Tiger or Zebra transformer used in the US version.

It doesn't even have tweeters in it,trying to get some.
Just can't believe the pounding bass coming out of this thing, especially
strong FM stations!!
Here's a link with photo.
A very wicked underrated boomer!!! :-)  :choco: :stereo: :stereo:  :cat:
