My Friend Photographer's Demo Reel

He's John Marquez, about my age (39), self-taught photographer from Mérida, Venezuela.
All the pictures in his Demo Reel are not from Venezuela, but there's about 70% that is. Amazon, Andes, Caracas, etc.
He travels extensively, so much that last year he almost died of Malaria in Africa... but he's good now.

Info:
The song is "Barbapapa's Groove" from a group called "Barbatuques" (from Brasil) they're an a cappella / body percussion group and all the sounds are without instruments!

One of my favourites is at 2:04. He's driving his Lada in the rain, through the rear view mirror you can see his daughter sleppin' in the back seat. TOO AWESOME!

Enjoy!

Thats a very good eye!
I love the many shots of the Andes/Amazone area. Reminds me of my trips to my mothers land, Bolivia.

Baya the whole concept of the Vid. with a sort human beat box is outstanding. Love the shots there is so much the world can offer to everyone!

This mother earth is beautiful.

I just finish planting my young hopefully grafted Avocado tree and watching this just took me back when I visited the Dominican Republic back in 1979.

Bella es las tierra que nosotros caminamos.
