Cool one Chris
This guy has so many video's, but I just love the obsolete format stuff. I find it amazing that he can find some of these machines!

Wow, that Akai is crazy.......I doubt today's engineers would know how to create that mechanism. All that zinc-plated metal inside is awesome.

Oh yeah man, all that metal work, thing must weigh a ton! Limit switches, friction timers, rods pushing leavers pushing buttons. The service men that repaired these needed PHD's!

Yes, that is funny. The guy has a great sense of humor. I like the fact, that he will buy a 40 year old, NIB machine, open the box, USE IT, then open up the machine to see how it works

THEN he incorporates it into his home stereo system in case he might want to listen to some 50 year old defunct format player! Freaking classic!

Akai GXC 570D and 740D got that same type of motor, so quiet that you won't believe the deck is running in play mode.

I know this channel, he makes excellent videos indeed. This one´s interesting, i´ve seen many of those around here for sale and people are playing idiotic prices for this thinking that this is the legendary GF-800 or WF-939.

Great stuff. Did not know about the AKAI auto reverse system. Thought that NAK was the only one with this system

I like this video, I find myself going Full Screen on Pause to read the price details during the brochure shots. I still can't believe how expensive BB's were 'back in the day', it was madness!

I too like him.
We can see that he does a lot of research before making a video, giving in and out review of the machine, along with its contemporary models and comparison to today's technology etc.

Videography is also excellent.

Great man. Appreciate him.
