I decided to celebrate the 4th of July boomboxery style with some holiday colored boomboxes. The latest edition being my Japanese Victor M70. When it arrived it was in perfect working order and the speakers are in the best condition I have ever seen on an M70. I initially was going to paint it tungsten gray like an M90 and had the paint all set. Then my daughter gave me the idea of painting it blue to replace the one I sold. So I cleaned and stripped her down and here is the finished product...along with my other holiday M70's... :-D

The knob on the far right adjusts tape player speed (super slow to chipmunk fast) a really neat feature, i haven't figured out what the other 2 do yet because the writing is in japanese... :-D

Frank- thanks for the kudos, your work always inspires me to work harder at customizing

Mono- I have plans for about 10 different colored M70's so I need 6 more...it was my favorite box as a kid and could never afford one back then so I guess I am a little obsessed with it... :-D
