Nice work Floyd, those outside pics look cool.

I have the Sencor version of this but the power button dosnt stay pushed in. So it works fine as long as you keep your finger on the power button.

Any ideas on that??

i would ask bill if he has a power switch because i think he has a parts box and i already got a part from it yesterday so he might still have what you need.this unit has a separate board that contains the bass/treble/balance/volume/power switch all on one long thin pc board that's pretty simple to replace.

I don't have power switch because this one was junk, but good news is many Boomboxes with push button power switches are exactly same and I used one from a parts unit CEC for my kings point and it fit perfect  so if you have any beater units with push button power switch I'd bet it would work ;-)

You can try to take switch apart to see if locking mech is wore out and you might be able to repair it. :-)

This!

(In the case of my Panasonic RS460SD, with a spring snaffled from a broken ballpoint pen) or go to your local Maplin, they do a range of generic switches in all flavours and colours - 'twas in a Maplin that I bought the simple I/O push switch for my Blaupunkt Salvador 3D. Take your old one along and ask the spotty yoof at the till, the ones with Reynaud's in their fingers are usually the best at identifying stuff. ;-)

BTW, Are those 920 speakers & grills?

yes they are 920 grilles, they fit great with some minor tweaking.

Nice one! This box is begging for a heavily customised paint job.

I've never had one, but I know if/when I do there'll be a tonne of colour on it asap.

Rock On.

You're always full of awesome ideas Floyd!
Just like that time you made cassette deck doors for a TRC-935 I had.
