[Lasonic TRC-920]

Here are some new additions...

Member Fresh Produce hooked me up with this really clean Lasonic TRC-931 3rd generation. Although I have never really had much interest in this model, it does have the LBS feature like the 975 and it hits pretty hard. It's also now 100% working.



I picked up this Panasonic super cheap off ebay. Seller said it didn't power up and was totally dead. Powers up for me, although it is stuck on one station and the deck needs belting. If anyone has a switch tab, PM me.



Although I have had this VZ2000 for about 5 years, I finally got it repaired and with the addition of some 3D printed sliders, it's now 100% working.



Lastly is a radio I have been searching for, for a long time. Lasonic TRC-915. This one is super rough and will need to be totally gone through. The seller included all the parts and it does power up.

I concur. In my opinion, Lasonic had Sanyo in mind when they projected some of their models. For instance, I've always thought that the TRC 918 is inspired to the Sanyo M 9994 and the TRC 920 to the Sanyo M 7900

Nice boxes. You know, i actually really like the 3rd gen 931, i think it showed Lasonic were prepared to try something a bit different yet retained the classic layout. It looks super clean too.

I never really cared for it, but after having the i931 for so long, it has made me appreciate the 3rd Gen. I never heard one before and I am very surprised by the sound quality. It hits like a 975 with the LBS on. Very powerful. This one is in very good condition.

I had/have all 3 generations of the 931 and in my opinion I liked the 3rd generation better than 1st but my 2nd is ultimately the best.

I have to agree, I think the 2nd Gen is the best. But I haven't gone through my 1st gen yet

That switch tip is the same one for RX 5150 and RX 5350.

Joe (blufuz) was the first to tell me I can use 5150 switch tip for 5350.

Should be able to connect a DIN cable to that "REC/PB" jack, insert a blank tape, hit Record/Pause, and use that as your line in.
