This past weekend, the Middle Tennessee area was hit with major rain and severe thunderstorms. Some areas received as much as 20" of rain in only two days. My location was luckily spared from most of the inclement weather although our back yard did have some huge puddles of water.
The Cumberland River in Downtown Nashville crested at 50 feet above flood level!
