This past Sunday member Fresh Produce stopped by to show me some of his hard work over the last few weeks / month.
Including the Lasonic TRC-935 NIB
Sorry, I didn't take pictures, but I know Peter took a few, I'll ask him to post.
Peter brought over several different Sony models. Over the years I have seen allot of Sony products, but never got to see these models, up close and personal.
I have to say, the weighted tuning knobs, solid switching and awesome logic decks with slide out cassette deck doors really impressed me.
He brought 5 or 6 radios of every size including a bad ass 8" speaker unit all the way down to a tiny silver stereo.
Gotta say thank you to Peter for bringing them over and letting me throw every switch and turn every knob on every radio!
BTW, The Lasonic is to die for! Its flawless. "IF" there is another 935 in a box in the world, it could ONLY be as nice! Peter's is perfect!
SIDE NOTE:
I had my 935 cranking right next to Peter's. My 935, like my 975 and 951 are kind of rattle traps. I have worked to tighten them and they are better....but...
Peter's 935...SOLID AS A ROCK! From the factory TIGHT!
I Knew It!
Again, thanks to Peter for sharing his collection of Sony's.
