Magnavox D8523 capstan gear

Hey friends I have a drive gear or helical gear thats still good but I'd still like to fine a new one just in case this one turns to mush anyone makings these? And if so where? Thanks

I wouldn't worry about it, it's not the same plastic as your other ones which have plasticizers of some sort to soften them.
If it *was* problematic you can bet you would've already seen it turn orange, crumbly and oily, and others would have already had the issue too
