Hey guys, just picked this guy up at a yard sale for 3 bucks, is it even salvageable?
This is my first actual boombox, need some advice on how to tackle the cleaning job, its definitely seen its share of job sites.
Stereo works, both decks are a bust though, if anything I would use it for its AUX input.

Thanks in advance!

First try the safest method. Remove all components and soak the case in soapy water for a couple of days. After the soak I use wooden skewers to get the more stubborn paint spots out.

As Alberto says soaking it helps. Sometimes careful work with a finger nail is enough. On ones really covered I've used the edge of a credit card

rubbing alcohol works best on stubborn paint.. has always done the trick for me.. and it wont harm the plastics.. just need to have a bit of patience..
