M90 battery door options, other brands that fit.

We all know of someone that had a missing M90 battery door. From our research here, these are the known other brands that fit.


Conion C100 (Korean and Japan models)
Conion C126 (and aka's)
Conion TC999 (and aka's)
JVC-RC838
JVC-RC550?
JVC-RC636?



Some 'kind of' fit options:
Monchito said "one of the panny 50 series uses a battery door that is almost exactly but you have to shave a little bit on both sides and prepare the bottom hooks so it will hook inside"



Also, I stumbled across a JVC RC-W210 EGG that looks to have the same battery door. The locking part of the upper latches seem to be sticking out a tad more than a M90 door but the location of the upper latches, lower slots, and the size looks to be perfect.


Can anyone confirm/deny?

Actually I have a project I needed a M90 battery door for, so I took a chance on the W210 door because it looks to be correct.

Wow, that's amazing they used the same battery door mould from a long since discontinued model!

Another couple of examples:

The Hitachi 3D7 and 3D8 battery covers are identical in size and colour.
The Hitachi TRK-9140 and TRK-9300 covers are indental in size only.

I still can't believe it, what are the chances. I really thought I would have to mod the clips or grind the edges at least, but this truly fits with no mods and doesn't bind up.

Cool, now anyone got a w210 battrey cover sale. I need one if my Conion one gets busted after I try to get my battrey cover off off. It accidentally got glued in with a plastic resin I used to make a c100f foot. It leaked in and stuck the door shut.
