A few years ago I sold a loverley Sony mono box with an 8" driver. I wanted to know if anyone here was the lucky buyer of that amazing machine? Or has anyone here got one? Pics please..?

are we talking about some thing that mite look like the jvc 550 or a standard mono as this dont sound standard
8'' thats as big as the drivers in the jc200 shiat thats big
ask rick he mite have it

That's it! That's my old baby! Sounds amazing too - and I love the full mesh front.
While we're talking Mono - I have a gorgeous National mono with cloth-reel tuning dial and stainless speaker cover. Pics? I have forgotten the model number.

I found mine (the one I sold) at the Margate tip in southern tasmania. It was in such good order. I always wondered how such lovely items end up discarded when there's obviously no issue with it's function? It sounds a thousand times better than the majority of audio available today

Old-timer! I definitely feel it. Quite well though time and boombox availabilty have both dried - any I see I try to get though, if they're worth having! Do you still use the old board? How's your collection?

I've got one too, mine's a CF-495L. It sounds lovely, plenty of warm punchy bass and crystal clear highs.

Unlike the ones above, mine has a fine tuning wheel next to the tuning knob.
