I also kind of miss being able to see who was bidding on an item, instead of hiding the user name with A***7

They took that priviledge away, because people would send emails to bidders..

Once I sent a bunch of emails to bidders, warning them about a seller who jacked me once.

Yep, I used to just contact people outside of eBay and do the deal with out the fee's, that didn't last long...

Just sold my Firebird like that and with zero fees . Cost me zilch to list on eBay then a buyer contacted me to pick car up. I had a buy it now listed so I said that was cool but I was leaving it posted til he picked car up and payed cash... and he did. So I cancelled post and didn't pay a dime to eBay.
