Look for quality Boombox using C-Cells

Dear all,

most of the bigger boomboxes use D-sized cells.
However I have a couple of rechargeable C-cells and now I ask myself which one is the best sounding box where they fit in.
My personal preference is Aiwa, but I expect there are others. A good tape unit is a must.
So I kindly ask for your valued expertise.

I would search eBay for either aiwa or Sanyo mini boomboxes they both made many high quality mini boombox models.

I think Sanyo had the mini boombox market cornered because of the variety of high quality and desired models.

i can vouch for the c50 i wasn't aware it took c cells it sounds that good
