Lloyd's boombox V-163

Hello all!

I recently acquired a Lloyd's V-163 boombox that was my Mom's, who had it since new. (1979)

I'm wanting to get it cleaned up and working 100% so I can have it my collection.

However, it needs new belts and I haven't found any exact replacements out there.

Does anyone know a good equivalent to use?

Thank you in advance!

You can buy a pack of universal belts and find one that fits. It cheaper this way.

Here's a post on how to determine belt size needed:

Some people also use string and mark it with a pen, then measure the distance between the two marks.

I would say most of the drive belts will be square and medium.

For more belt info, see:

If you get a pack of universal belts, make sure to find one that is snug, but not too tight. If the belt is too tight, it will cause the motor to work harder, which could burn up the motor.
