Ok, just for fun, let's use this 1980 Caprice Classic's gas tank as an example: 91 liters / 24 gallons.
Here in Venezuela, in any gas station in the country (since all gas stations are the same price),
this tank fills up with $1.86!!! WHAAAA!!!??? Yup, the math is triple-checked, that's 7¢ a gallon!!!
How much is it to fill this car's tank in your country? (in US Dollars)

Wow... $3.50 a gallon? So this Caprice would cost $84 to get filled up?

Here in Spain for a 45 liters pay around 63 euros ,near 77 us dollars .Spain not have Oil .half of the price are Tax.
Im realy like big american cars ,but with gas prices in most countries, make them impractical for daily use.
I like gas guzzlers, but it is difficult with such high consumption :-/ and prices of the gas,

Considering Venezuala's current wacko government, I'm not surprised at the strange prices.

Nice Caprice, but if I was going to get an 80's 2-door, it'd be a G-body like the Cutlass or Regal. Some of the most iconic GM's ever built.

$93.36 (USD) to top off with regular In Metro-Boston. That's why I take company vehicles home as often as possible.

The 80's Cutlass, Regal, Monte Carlo and GP at least had V6 motors. For a large vehicle I love late 70's of those models with small V8's. Had 2 1977 GP's and loved them. Almost bought a 77 Cutlass once and a 77 Monte Carlo. Those were the days!!!

You could get a V8 in the mid-80's Cutlass 442 and Monte Carlo SS

In 1988 I drove one of these with a 1 liter 3 cylinder engine, I could fill the tank and drive all week for $5 :-D
