From my experience, there is absolutely no difference in sound quality or any volume loss. The truth of the matter is, MP3 sound quality is poor, but it has nothing to do with corded or wireless blu tooth.
I still use my blu tooth receiver almost every day when I am out with any of my radio's, modded or not.
