I wish i could compliment you and say yes but my 55 has been like this for about 4 years now, but by gawd they dont half sound bloody good ehh.

the best thing about these units is the crazy power ,you can experiment with different speakers and it has the plenty of power to push them.

Floyd man i just wish i could find more of these sony its been so long ago i can't remember what sony hifi they came off, i would buy another 4 of the hifi and do the rest of my 55's just give the hifi's away,.

its pretty cool.
someone needs to paint up a pc55 or 550 so its all black and white put checkers where the grid pattern is on the speakers and only play bands like the specials the english beat and the selekter on it.....
