Something I'm hoping the euro rockers can chime in with as I'm not sure if these made it to the u.s

These were card panorama pictures that served as a background and you'd rub transfers onto them to complete the image.
The result ended up looking like non-moving animation, with bright comic style images on a painted flat backdrop.

I LOVED these as a kid, the main production seems to be from 1978 to the mid 80s. I'm going through a bit of a resurgence looking for them again, as I seem to do every couple years.

Anyone remember them or have any photos they can share?

Also, a company in Singapore started making Kalkitos again!! I ordered a few off their site, can't wait!

I think these were called "Color-forms" in the US

MANY hours spent on those!

Anyone remember Shrinkydinks? Nothing like cooking plastic in the oven...oh yeah, I can still remember the smell of out gassing plastic in the kitchen! "Hey Mom, you gonna cook dinner in the oven now?" :dunce:

Colorforms was different. You had sticky vinyl shapes that you could place on a background image and you could peel them off and reposition lots of times. Presto Magix was the dry transfer / rub on stuff. ;-)

That's what I remember. That, and something similar that you decorate a plate with and bake it. The result was a colorful, personalized diner style plate. I hope I'm not the only one who remembers this.
