JVC RV-B55 draining batteries

Hey guys,

I've got a JVC RV-B55 which I lent a friend 'cause I never really used it. The friend, however, found that the JVC would drain the batteries in one or two days even if turned off and not used at all. So it seems the JVC constantly sucks power.
Has anyone else had this problem?

No, mine doesn't drain batteries when turned off.
It sounds like some part of it is still powered after you turn off the box.
