Hi all, I just picked up this M70 from the Goodwill Outlet bins earlier today. It is very clean and seems to work perfectly. However, as the picture shows, the handle is broken in half which is I assume why it laid there so long and was not taken.

I only paid $5 for it, so not a huge outlay, but i'd like to see what options there are for replacing the handle. The brackets seem fine, it's just the channel piece that is broken.

Thanks for any advice.

Used parts show on eBay all the time, maybe monitor it frequently or set up a search notification. Or if you have the ability to draw it in CAD, get it commercially 3-D printed.

Nice score. I had one that the handle broke. I reinforced the hollow part with a bolt ground down to fit and then epoxied the heck out of it 8-)

Also, member blu_fuz makes straps for the M70 so you could always glue it back together and use the strap to carry it. I have found that 2 out of 3 of my M70s the handles start cracking where the screws are at the end and then split. With D batteries installed the handle flexes even more.

Hoping one day we have a 3-D purchase on these :-)
