JVC PC-V88 display

The digital display has stopped working. If the display needs replacing, does anyone know where to get one or how to replace it. Any help would be appreciated.

Oh, Hello! You could try searching the forum for help but I'd suggest the best thing to do would be to start HERE, it worked for me.

Welcome aboard, Stewart! I don't have any experience with the PC-V88, but I know the digital displays in the PC-55 are hooked in with ribbon cable. It might sound silly, but I would first check to see if your display uses the same type of connection and then check to see if it is loose.

Yes I would check the slat wire connections also I've read that if you apply heat to the LCD panel it was sometimes reactivate the panel but you gotta watch how you apply it from a distance and not on high heat just enough to get it warm to the touch but not melt anything.
