Hello all. I have a JVC PC-V66 that will not "remember" the preset stations. Any help would be appreciated. I would imagine it has a battery or cap of some sort for that function, but am not sure where to look. Thanks again in advance.
I agree with Floyd.
But it might not remember the stations at all when unplugged.
My PC-X1000 has a memory battery but it only remembers the time on the clock, not the stations. :annoyed: :annoyed:
It erases the radio station memory as soon as it is unplugged from the wall.

That's the one thing that annoys me about my X200 and I suspect other similar JVC models are the same way. :annoyed:
Still love these little JVC bass boxes though.

There is no slot in the battery compartment for any batteries other than the ones that can power the unit. I took the back off the unit and searched for anything that looked like a battery and found nothing. When I took it apart I thought I might luck out and find an easily replacable coin type battery, but no luck. Any other tips? Where might I find a schematic for this radio??

Thats what I thought........
I had a PC V66 once and I'm sure it didn't remember the presets as well. :annoyed:
You might check with 71spud. He has almost every JVC manual know to man,but I know he isn't at home right now.
Hope this helps.
