JVC PC-70JW Instruction book (owners manual) wanted!

Hello all!

I am wanting an instruction book (owners manual) for the JVC PC-70JW.

Please not the service manual and no other designation (L, LB, C, etc.)

An original would be nice, though a free download would be fine.

I'm just curious why it specifically has to be the JW version. The suffices only designate the market in which the unit was released.

C - Canada
LB - Europe
JW - USA

Instructions will be pretty much the same between the C and JW. The differences will come in wattage and power requirements since Canada is different from the U.S. The European versions will have information on shortwave radio that the U.S. and Canada do not have.

I'm wanting one only for purely aesthetic reasons and reference; as I do know the operation is similar amongst the different markets. Though I also know the L/LB ones have only one compressed SW band and an LW band.

Hey, I just thought... Get with member Superduper (Norm). He runs the Analog Alley website, and has tons of manuals. See if has, or can locate, a PC-70JW instruction book.

Nothing for the PC-70.

Not sure how you checked or why you say they don't have it. AnalogAlley does have it, both in the store catalog: AnalogAlley store catalog for PC-70JW/C owners manual as well as their library listing: AnalogAlley inventory listing for JVC, pg 2. The store downloadable version is PDF. They also have the original paper manual which they can reprint in paper form. However, it looks like you are wanting one for free or cheap, and given that the PDF version is watermarked, it's obviously not gonna work for you.
