JVC M90 Remote Control Variants (how many? / are any other remotes compatible?)

Now that I have my JVC M90 up and running, I have been going through my cassette collection. I have a massive collection of rare and odd ball cassette's that I want to digitize and put on line. I thought I would use the M90 since it is the highest quality deck I own. While setting up my rig to interface with my computer, I quickly realized it would be so much easier to have a remote control for the deck, so I started looking into it. Obviously the M90 remote control is pretty rare and I didn't think I would find one and if I did, I figured it would not be cheap. But what I did find strange was all the variants of the remote. I was hoping you guys could add some information to this subject.

A quick search here on Boomboxery found these two threads:

The first remote I found was in the "M90 Remote Control" thread

In a google search I found a listing for this remote

Further google searches revealed even more controllers shown in various YouTube videos HERE, HERE, HERE and HERE

Even more searching brought me to a company in China that makes a wireless adapter. Available Here

And yet another video of the M90 Mini that has it's own little remote. Video Here

In this search I found further information about which decks these remotes operate...

Even more searching had me down the rabbit hole on eBay looking at various corded remotes with DIN plugs, searching for the correct amount of pins, pin position and layout for cassette decks. I found a few from various brands.

So, the questions I have are...

How many JVC remote variants are there?

Does any one know of any remotes that are compatible with the JVC decks?

Has anyone ever tried to rewire a remote to work with these decks?

Is it possible to do damage to a deck while trying a different remote?

I'm wondering if it's possible to reuse a corded remote from something else and simply re-pin it?

NOTE: The JVC M90 repair schematic shows the pin location for the remote
