Hello everyone, I finally got the time to work on my M90 cassette deck.
It does have several issues, which I was able to tackle one at the time, and it seems that electronically everything is working fine.
The problem now is that the drive gear that doesn't engage when the solenoid is activated.
Upon giving a closer look I found out that the first tooth of the gear is 'consumed' and that's why the gear of the flywheel doesn't engage with it.
I'm pretty handy and fantasious in founding solutions but I have the uncomfortable feeling that this time I'm kinda screwed...
But I also PXL_20220213_181134076~2.jpgknow there's some brilliant deck gurus around here:) ...any ideas on how to fix this?
Thanks!!

They're a little different. M80 uses VKS3114-001 but M90 uses VKS3114-002
Looks like they added a tab, maybe more
But we live in the age of 3D, we'll make a new one ;-)
