JVC M90 Deck issues

Wow very interesting conclusion to a problem regarding the M90 tape counter.
The identical part can be found on a Marantz SB-530 tape deck. All you need todo is swap out the pulley and shaft.

Only problem I see with that method is that you'll end up with either a JVC or a Marantz deck without a counter reset button.

Alternately, you can remove the good button and try to mold yourself one, many hobbyists have replicated parts that way with good success.
