hello all ,,,i have to tell you i forgot how good this box sounds.....back in the day..lol (showing my age) i remember purchasing this radio from a store in bklyn..i remember walking in with 97$ dollars cash and walked out of the store with it :-D had aot of fun with it ..there was a kid i grew up with and he would allways ask me about the box.. he had many problems...and his parents sent him to an instution to stay and from time to time he would call me just to talk...felling bad for him i went to see him and guess what i brought with me....needless to say i gave it to him..it just was the right thing to do...so now i have another one from my childhood..needs agood shot of deoxit and a good going cleaning...so here it is when i have it al cleand up i will post more photos.........thanks

It seems like all of us have that special story as to why we are attracted to a particular Stereo. Thank you for sharing...Dang M-70....one day you will be mines again.... :sad:

when i got my first one last year i was blown away by the power and sound.....im no longer a silver box snob....them Lasonics friggin pound!!!
i have 2 931s and a 975 and i wouldnt trade them for anything...

good morning to all.... thanks for all the great replys :breakdance: ok finally got the chance to service this box a real pia to get inside no clips on the wires to remove the boards so i was extreamly careful.....cleand the back cover speakers all the trim and the result is amazing...line in works.. a good few shots of deoxit to the volume control....only problem cant get the bottom deck to work.....it rewinds fast fowards but once you push play it stalls...deck a works great and all the belts look good .....once again thanks to all here are the finished pics
