Just saying hello.

Picked up this a few days ago for a restore. Cassette deck won't turn (mushy belts) and volume is crackly but it's in good condition and sounds awesome.

Looking forward to sourcing some belts and cleaning this up.

Which cable would I need to aux in with this?

I will have lots of questions but just starting my research now.

Take it easy folks. Ben.

It looks like you'll need a 5-pin DIN cable.
In fact you might need one with 2 plugs, because those 2 round holes say L and R.

Man there are 950’s all over this site in the last few weeks! Try and get the deck working as it’s a good box.

These sound terrible on Din. When buying Aiwa boomboxes and wanting to use rca line-in, you need to be aware of the regional model number suffixes.

Getting the deck running is a priority. The motor turns so it's looking promising.

The manual talks about using the player sync to record from lp so I'm guessing the tiny jack could be a line in?

It was bought for tapes really but having the option to use a line in would be beneficial.

Still amazed at the sound.

Nah it's just a "sync" i.e. timer, it's useless
