Just Got A Pair Of Sony APW X-300's!!

Hi everyone-I just got a pair of Sony APW X-300 speakers!!
These are so cool-they're flat piston diaphram woofers and mid-ranges and some incredible tweeters as well.
One woofer was slightly damaged(pushed in on one side)But I took it out and am repairing it!
Luckilly the cone is all right,it's the flat cover that I'm repairing it just needs to be glued around the edge.
It has all free movement and all so the woofer is still very good.
After my repair it will be like new almost.
They sound excellent and handle 100 watts!
I'll take photos tomorrow-Got both for like 4.99!!
Goodwill has been good again.
Does anyone know about these-they look really trick-especially with the grills off?

i think they have instructions how to repair bad surrounds there.

Hi Bill-Thanks for that-I'm waiting to take a couple of photos outside tomorrow and of the woofer that I'm fixing.
I have good surrounds and cover for the most part-just pushed in on one side-manage to push it back into rightful shape and now just mending the edges (cover) on the front.
Mine are just like the X-250's shown but a little bigger and I can't wait to show you all.
The price was right and I may use them as my 2nd pair on my Pioneer SX-V90 or just extra boombox external speakers!

i like these speakers a lot. i have three boomboxes with these type of speakers.
they hit really hard with the bass and well the big sony boomboxes i have are just really nice sound.
