Hi everyone-I just received my 2nd. Sharp GF-9797!!
It's the E model,UK model,which has silver speaker grills and
a UK antenna lead in back.
These are rated at 40watts!
BTW I just noticed the E model UK version has
phono only and no designated line In like the US
version.
No biggy, just need to have to get one
of those phono attenuators.
I love this thing and it was only around 79.00 or something
close to that-cheap!!
The seller stated that the radio wouldn't tune in
right.
Well after I put 2 new AA's and fired it up it tunes
perfectly!!
I opened it up as the cassette was stuck in play when
I got it,belt has just come off the flywheel.
After some cleaning and some lube it's working
100% now!!
It does have a mark-paint worn off from something
do the top will have to be painted.
Other than that it's a beauty!! These are so damn rare!!
I now have the GF-9797 US version with black grills
silver body and the UK version!!
Now for the rare bronze HB model!!!
