Just dropped off last 2 Boomboxes!!!

So Eric and I finally got some time to meet up in Chesterton Indiana so I can hand over the Big Ben and TC999 that he bought from me when I had my big sale. Eric is a great guy and we went to eat and just BS about our collections and the lengths we go to get them It's funny and I hope his wife don't read this, but he had to sneak out to get them

So even though it wasn't a regular meet hopefully next mini meet I have he will be able to come out since its less than 3 hr drive to my house He even said he would bring Big Ben and I will be allowed to touch it I did call dibs back on it too . Anyway I didn't get any pics of us or boomers cuz it was raining but Jeannie and I decided to go to Indiana Dunes just a mile down the road. It was very pretty there and since neither one of us had been there in well over 20 years it was fun just to see the changes and even the things that were the same. So I got some pics of the trip to Dunes and here ya go

I only thought there were The Jackson House, Colts, Pacers, a 500 and Hoosiers!

Cool looking place though! If I ever come through Indiana I'll have to check that out.

That's cool, I'm from Michigan but don't think I've ever been there. I do remember going to some dunes up further north in MI where they had dune buggy rides.

No, but I would say you were pretty close to some mounds though.

Dunes are on Lake Michigan . Right off I94 and IN 49. They have camping as well and said they are booked up for whole summer already :-(. I use to camp there for $6/ night in 80's. I also went there as Boy Scout in late 70's early 80's. it's a blast. One time we went with a cooler of beer and had to carry it up to top of huge sand hill. Another time while hiking with Boy Scouts a few of us wandered off to climb a tall dune hill and at top was a naked girl sun bathing god I wish they had camera phones in 80's

That's cool. I lived in Southern Indiana (aka Kentuckiana), right across from Louisville. Pretty country around there. I miss it sometimes.

Bill, I totally missed this thread. Thanks for meeting me half way. Both radios are doing great and yes you can touch Big Ben when he visits. Wait that does not sound right......you know what I mean. Glad you and Jeanie were able to have some fun on the way home.. Stay cool.
