wow caught joan jett at the pne tonight and i must say she just rocked the house. had so many folks show up for her set i am sure that she must have felt appreciated.
what a amazing performer tho. i mean i was shocked with the fact she had the strength to perform one day after the passing of her mother.

honestly it was one of the best live shows of them all. i mean whats not to like. one of the original punk rockers unscathed by the passing of time. ace guitar tone kick ass sound outside free and the perfect temperature. as good a set as you could really want. nice mix of tunes and well touching that she dedicated the set to her mom. you could see she was really sad during the set but man she hit every note right and her timing was flawless. i am sure this was most likely one of the worst days of her life if not the worst but she really impressed me with her strength. must have been close to five thousand people on the field to catch her set. i mean very solid and really one of the last of the original punk rockers. certainly was very impressive to see this 51 year young woman rock like it was 1979
