When I joined this site I saw all these dream radio's but I didn't know where to get them, I had no idea how to fix them and had no idea where to get the replacement parts for them.

But nearly 5 years later I have it all worked out!

AND, as it turns out, it wasn't as hard as I thought it would be....

It's as simple as helping out as many people as you can and it seems to MAGICALLY come back around.

AND, if I can't pay someone back for helping me, I just go help someone else and pay it forward!

It's just that simple ;-)

I don't know if member Glucifer (aka Rick) coined the phrase "Blaster Karma" but I am a firm believer of it now.

From locating dream radio's, to finding impossible ultra rare parts, to advise on repairs, to amazing "Members Only" prices, I have seen it all.

AND all I had to do was not be a DICK! :w00t:

For me, that was the hardest part!    (WAY HARD! :-/  )

My collection has and is still growing and I plan on branching out into some other area's that I hope will make our sport better.

With all that said, just want to say thanks to everyone at Boomboxery for helping me out! You all are the best!

I actually think there's a big toothy grin under that beard! :-)

On a more serious note, seeing members like Chris, BB etc really does inspire me to get back on the tools and get some of my more difficult box faults corrected.

Keep it up Chris, you are doing more good for member morale than you probably realise,

James.... :-)

When I first saw the video of Chris using a shotgun to "mod" an egg a couple of years back, I knew these were my kind of people.

yeah chris is awesome , i still got 2 things from him that are basically the center pieces in 2 full blown custom car systems . 1 big ass sherwood amp that has to be one of the best amps i ever owned and i have owned many amps and still do but this thing is just brutal , i have yet to even push it hard because i don't have to ,it just pours on the power with ease and its sounds tight not boomy or distorted . just plain punchy bad ass bass. this beast hits harder than my fogate 400.4. i built a custom box around the amp with a big neon light bar across the top of the amp and a 10 inch jbl dvc sub on each side of the amp in my chevy step side pickup.
not only that , the impossible to find old skool kicker free air 8 inch subwoofers which i put in a box thats tiny, in my jeep and the **** will vibrate your teeth and sound flawless doing it.

I never though chris would give up on those kickers but drooled over them every time i saw the louder blaster . by some miracle chris loosed his mighty grip on the old velvet sledge hammers and they now reside in my jeep where they took the place of 2- 15 inch kickers and they sound utterly fantastic.

so i use something i got from him on a daily basis for a while now .

1 awesome dude!.

Yeah, that era of Amps / Speakers were the real deal. That Sherwood had sat in my closet waiting for a project that never came. None of my cars had space for that thing, it was just TOO BIG.

I used the Kickers the same way, in tiny boxes and they were so TIGHT and Punchy!

But I am super happy with our trade! Those amp's you sent me worked out great on my end, exactly what I needed!

To everyone I have ever swapped parts with, radio's with, advice with....THANKS AGAIN!

Hahaha. Awesome. Just awesome. I gotta see if I have a video of the sparkler bomb we put in this "Boombox" we had at work. It was also not a box, nor did it boom.

You've reached that moment where you're on top of the peak looking down.

Don't let the hobby fade as others have.

Keep on doing what you're doing bro'.
