I replaced the belts, capstan rubber sleeve and idler tyre on my GF9494. I purchased the replacement off eBay from Rorichel_1. Everything seems to have gone well except for the capstan sleeve. There is too much resistance and the mechanism isn't moving smoothly. I can't get it to play tapes. It's also super hard to get the capstan off again now!
Is this a common issue when replacing them?
