So, it arrived in Nashville, then left on a truck just to go to a different post office in Nashville. But, the idiots then put it on a truck to goddamn Colorado! :annoyed: :annoyed: :annoyed: :nugget: :nugget: :dots:

and today good old fedex charged me $52 just to ship a MINI Box to new york from florida = 1400 miles

Yep. They are. I ordered an item in Charlottesville VA (2 hours away). They put it on a truck and sent it to PA. and then sent it completely through the middle of my state past my house all the way to Greensboro, NC for sorting and then brought it back.

Talk about reaching behind your back to scratch your nose.

I hate shipping or having anything shipped.
Either you get your stuff damaged. Or you get raped with the high costs.

UPS and Fedex are way too expensive, and from my experience they're not any better at package care than the post office is.

I had a C100F manual go from SoCal that got halfway up the state, then boarded a flight to Hawaii before it came back to the same airport in Cali, but at that point it was changed to be a 2-day priority package, presumably to get it to me on time, which it did!

It sucks that as customers we are expected to accept that part of these companies business models is that they simply trash our stuff. We GIVE THEM MONEY and accept the fact that they don't care about our items and that is it! No other options, no recourse, use it or don't, they don't give a F**K! It's like all of them got together and said "do you care, because we don't?"

In Japan, when I had radio's shipped domestically, they would show up in single ply, thin corrugated fruit boxes with 1 sheet of news paper wrapped around them. Never had one show up damaged. If I wasn't home to receive it, they would leave a note with a number. After calling the number, they would come to the house with in 30 minutes and hand it to me followed with them bowing.

Here, they leave my stuff at the end of my 200 yard long driveway or at the wrong house up the road. It's a freaking miracle ANY of the radios make it to their destination. I hope the Italians do better (but I'm not expecting anything)

Did you print the label through Ebay? There's a discount if you do.

FedEx is the cheapest option for me. Only time I use USPS anymore is for international shipments.
